This 3.5 inch diameter mini bog is designed to make keeping carnivorous plants easier and more low-maintenance by limiting evaporation and keeping the plant constantly moist with a built-in reservior which holds up to a cup of water. 
 
Cape Sundews evolved to live in nutrient-deficient soil, catching insects to sastisfy their nitrogen needs with sticky dew drop-covered leaves which slowly wrap around their prey over time.  Catches fungus gnats and fruit flies.
